Eligibility requirements

1. High school diploma

2. Recommendation of good character from your school.

3. Recommendation from your masjid or Islamic center you attend.

4. A CV with all your details and an explanation that states why you are deserving of this scholarship.

5. Marriage certificate (if married

6. Letter from your country allowing you to study in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia at Princess Noura University.

7. Valid passport for more than six months.

8. Birth certificate

9. Under 30 yrs

A scanned copy of your picture page in your passport and your high school diploma must be authenticated by the country’s ministry of foreign affairs and then authenticated by the Saudi Arabian Embassy of your vicinity.

All documents are to be translated by a certified translator into Arabic by each applicant whose documents are not written in English.

Frequent asked questions

Q: Do I need a mahram in order to apply or to travel with you?

A: No. the university will arrange your pick up from the airport and transport to the campus.

Q: Will the university sponsor my children and or husband?

A: No, the scholarship and accommodations are only for the women. However there are charitable organizations in the Kingdom who will sponsor the family of these women. We can apply for this once the women are accepted by the university. Visas will be granted only for the students children.

Q: How about my husband being able to travel and reside with me while I attend the university?

A: If your husband is eligible we can get him enrolled into one of the Men universities in Riyadh. Also the same charitable organizations can sponsor and find employment for the husband once the applicant is accepted by the university.

Q: What are the details of the sponsorship by the University and the living arrangements?

A: The University will furnish the accepted applicants with their visa, pay for their travel to the Kingdom and provide an on campus accommodation with a monthly stipend of 1000 riyals ($266 USD).

Q: Will the university pay for my travel during my summer break?

A: Yes, you will be given an exit re-entry visa during your summer break together with a paid round trip ticket back to your country.

Q: If I do not have a high school diploma can I still apply?

A: No, this is a university and the course is a degree course. All universities anywhere in the world only accept those who have completed high school. MY ADVICE TO ANY SISTER SEEKING PROPER ISLAMIC EDUCATION , IS TO ATTAIN A HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA.

Q: Can anyone from any country apply?

A: yes, anyone can apply. Who is a Muslim.

Q: Can I apply without my passport and then acquire one while my application is processed?

Processing Fees

Each applicant must first pay a non refundable $100 USD screening fee to check their eligibility.

When you are deemed eligible you will be instructed to send your documents to our offices located in the US, Canada and Riyadh you will then pay the balance of your fee.

Those applying within the US and Canada will pay $1000 USD.

This includes:

1. Shipping and handling of all documents.

2. All legal fees within US, Canada and Saudi Arabia

3. Administration.

All those applying from outside the US and Canada will pay only a fee of $300 when there documents are prepared and sent to Riyadh (this is inclusive of their initial screening fee).

Application instruction:

1. 2. Once you are deemed eligible you will send the documents via our FedEx or DHL account (contact us for the account number) to our offices located in Canada and the US together with the balance of your processing fee of $900 USD as the initial $100 will be credited.
