WHAT THE FUNERAL SUPPORT AND BEREAVEMENT SCHEME WILL PROVIDE DURING THE FUNERAL
The simple basic funeral of a Muslim according to the Sunnah of the beloved Prophet ﷺ without a casket or coffin unless it is required for medical or environmental reasons.
WHAT THE FUNERAL SUPPORT AND BEREAVEMENT SCHEME WILL NOT OFFER DURING THE FUNERAL

The scheme will not provide the following:

Tombstones
-
Flowers
-
Grave decorations
-
Food
-
Other refreshments
-
Recitation of the Qur’an during funeral
Abu Hurayrah (Radhiya Allaahu `Anhu) narrated I heard the Prophet of Allaah (Swalla’Allaahu alayhi wa Sallam) saying “The rights of the Muslim on the Muslims are to follow the funeral processions, to accept invitation and to reply the sneezer” (Sahih Al- Bukhaary, 023: 332)
